  First time at Aloha Coffee and Cafe. I had a da green bowl and it was fantastic! The service was good and the cafe was nice and clean. The down side is the price. I know good quality food isn't cheap, but I thought the price was still steep. Even though it is pricey, I will still go back. Just not as often as I would if it were just a tad bit less expensive.

  I ordered a coffee drink with soy. I sat down and when it was ready, the girl walked out to the middle of the shop with 3 tables occupied with their drinks and stood there confused until I waved her over. I sat in the shop and drank it with a friend. I didn't realize they made it with the wrong milk until I was unable to make it home before having a painful and embarrassing lactose reaction. I called the shop to let them know. Their response was to pass me off between 3 people on the phone, and asking around the shop who made with drink with everyone denying it. Then they told me everybody makes mistakes and nobody is perfect. They did offer me a free meal, but were completely dismissive of the fact that their mistake caused an allergic reaction. What if someones reaction had been anaphylactic shock instead of pain and an embarrassing mess?

  Absolutely fantastic staff! They are very personal and make sure that you get exactly what you want. It is family owned by a couple who visited Hawaii and got inspired which I think is fantastic. The environment is clean and relaxing and their menu is wonderful and was happy to know they have Acaì bowls. They aren't your typical Starbucks so if you're looking for that this is not your place. It's better than that. Will be coming back again and again! Loved it and love to support small businesses. Great job!!!
