  Came here Sat night to have an early dinner, looked on line and couldn't make a reservation. Said they opened at 5pm so showed up early expecting a little wait. I was asked if I had a reservation, Huh? Online said you didn't take reservations? She said they take day of phone reservations, "Oh, ok. I know that for next time." Then was told their first available time for two would be at 7:30, WHAT!? You want me to wait two and a half hours?!?! I gave her my phone number in case something came up earlier and headed to the wharf to walk around.
  I've eaten here before and the food and drinks are really good, the chefs aren't quite as good as what I have had at other Benihana's, and the cost is always on the high side.
  I was called saying my table was ready at 8pm. Needless to say we just grabbed dinner on the wharf.

  Love this place, favorite benihanas location. Close to the wharf. Can usually get same day reservations unlike other locations.

  The food here is extremely good; and for those who have not witnessed the excellent displays of culinary skills performed by the chefs-it is a must see at least once or twice. Love the chateaubriand and twin lobster tails.

  Came here for my wife's birthday. Excellent fun - great show and great food cooked to order. When I asked for extra rare steak that's what I got...rare to find that in california.
